How to assemble a Gundam
Short video explanation of what's in the box and how to get started. More videos will come in the future, about how to get the best start and build cool Gundams! Before you dive in, make sure to read their guide. It's in the instruction manual. You can also read it here:

Here is Bandai's own material of their model kits

You naturally start by opening the beautiful box and inspecting the contents. Typically, there are several bags inside, where the "sprue, also called runners" parts are attached, separated by types and colors. All grids have their own designations like A1, A2, C1, and B. The parts on A1 then have a number. For example, 1, 2, 3, etc. So, the diagram starts with you needing A1 2. Then you take the grid called A1 and cut out part number 2. Pretty straightforward, and similar to other well-known brands with building blocks. There's no text, it's all diagrams, or on stickers, icons/symbols.
You'll learn it steadily along the way.
Here's an excerpt of how content, diagrams/manuals, and the process typically unfold. As you can see, it's something that takes time. You won't be done in an hour or two. The higher the price and quality, the more parts there typically are.
The more thorough you are, the better the result will be.
When you use your nippers to cut out the parts, make sure to get right up to the part without scratching it, and cut off any small plastic molding "nubs". You risk not being able to press the parts together completely if there are remnants.
For the best result, especially on white models, it is recommended to apply panel lining, which makes a world of difference. We sell Gundam Markers for this purpose.
Be aware that you might have leftover parts. This doesn't mean you've done anything wrong. It's because the factory often uses the same parts for different models. Instead of redoing the entire molding, they are simply included in the kit. Cut them out and save them. Maybe you can use them in a custom build one day, or if something breaks.
Enjoy!
